Website Committee

The website committee is responsible for the District 23 web site. The webmaster is tasked to ensure that the website:


  • Supports District 23 in fulfilling its primary purpose.
  • Abides by A.A. traditions and GSO guidelines (MG-18)
  • Reflects A.A. principles in scope, content and functionality.

In keeping with A.A.’s primary purpose, the District 23 web site provides information about local AA meetings and groups, local AA news and events, and resources to support alcoholics in the local area. The website committee chair may rely on committee member(s) to perform specific tasks. To contact the website chair, email webmaster@District23aa.org.

Website Committee Tasks & Procedures

The website committee (or webmaster) is responsible for:

  • Reporting on website-related spending & news.
  • Posting member flyers, events, documents, as needed.
  • Updating service emails, as needed (coordinate with WAI)
  • Updating AA meeting information, as needed.
  • Managing web pages & content, as needed.
  • Assisting with website problems, as needed.
